Laconically, Maranatha Evangelical Mission is one reputable clergy institution with a wide coverage in Bassa local Government Area of kogi state. It however separated from ECWA in 1998 for bridge of promises and other related leadership quagmire. Since then, Maranatha Evangelical Mission had taken a lofty stride in the harvest of souls for the kingdom of God.
The mission in it’s bide had tole the orthodox thoroughfare since it’s inception with it’s indegeneous modus vivendi like the unilingual practice.
The strategic leadership of the mission has being pioneered by Elder Adam Dogwo as the most senior Elder alongside a National Body over the years, not until the 20th of July 2019 when ordained as a Reverend and General Overseer Of the Mission.
In it’s passion to upgrade standard in other to enlarge her scope of coverage, it on Sunday the 6th of October 2019 ordained twelve Pastors, four Evangelist, four Deacons and four Deaconesses at Maranatha Evangelical Mission Auditorium, Oguma in Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State.
However, the ordination was in conjunction with the thanksgiving service of the General Overseer, Rev. Adam Dogwo.
In his acceptance speech, Rev. Dogwo Adam admonished Christians to remain focused stating that the seconding coming of the Lord is nearer than presume.
” We acknowledge God for the innovations in the mission and all glory must be ascribed to him from the initiation of the concept and all through the execution processes.
However, I urge you all to be extremely prepared on the second coming of the Lord. The Lord is coming soon,” he said.
Shortly after the ordination proper, AFRICASECURITYINVESTIGATION reporter, Mr. Israel Shigaba engaged Pastor Joseph Uye Daudu of the Sheria branch in an exclusive interview where he expressed optimism in the grace of God reliquishing his career as a Pastor to God.
“Prototypily, I appreciate God for the opportunity to serve in his veinyard. One thing is sure in this race, he that qualifies the unqualified and found me worthy will take charge of me. A song writer once said ‘i cast my borden on him for he cares for me’. More also, I humbly cast my race into his care for sure he will see me through”.
However, the General Overseer charged them on the fear of God in every moment of their live encouraged them to remain focused in the race to heaven, emphatically stating that the heavenly race is an individual affair while thereafter accountability would be required on a personal live lived and as a worker on the people let handle on earth.
Dignitaries who were in attendance were the Chairman Bassa Local government Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and General Overseer of Resurrection Panel Glory Ministry Int’l Rev. Abel Kure, the General Overseer Sozo Ministry Int’l Senior Pst. David Garba and other men of God.
