Citizens Action Group has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to disengage the Honourable Minister For Communication and Digitial Economy, Dr. Isa Pantami, Attorney General of the Federation, Mallam Abubakar Malami, and The Honourable Minister For Niger Delta Affairs, H. E Godwill Akpabio, over their alleged involvement in corruption.
The Nigerian Citizens Action Group NCAG, a coalition of Civil Society Organisations, Youth and Students Groups have received with utmost disappointment the unprecedented corruption acts perpetrated by the trio, Dr. Isa Pantami, Minister For Communication and Digitial Economy, Mallam Abubakar Malami, the Attorney General/Minister For Justice and H. E Godwill Akpabio, The Minister For Niger Delta Affairs.

Nigerian Citizen Action Group, Engr S A. Lukman described the act as a bridge of trust and confidence repose on trio by the President and Commander in Chief of Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria H.E President Muhammadu Buhari who appointed them into offices as Honorable Ministers Of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, respectively.
“Their respective caught in the Web of unimaginable biggest violation of rules (Procurement Act and Asset Declaration Act) and corruption practices ranging from questionable wealth around wards/family members, choice properties in various part of the Nation /abroad not contained in assets declaration form filled upon assumption office, contract scam and sexual harassment among others. These are obvious set back for president Buhari administration’s anti-corruption war, they remained an established clog in the wheel of progress that could have been recorded by this administration effort to obtain a Nigeria of our dream delivered where corruption in public office will be at minimal if no zero.
“We hereby call for immediate sack, investigation, and prosecution of these dishonorable ministers occupying Honorable ministries of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on or before 14 working days from this day of the press release.
“The Nigerian Citizens Action Group won’t hesitate to troop into their respective ministry to eject these shameless alleged corrupt public office holders should the presidency delay in acting accordingly within the stipulated time frame.
“Nigeria belongs to all of us, its greatness is our collective effort just as it sanitation of greedy and corrupt elements in government is a joint task”, he added.
