New year Message: Bassa Chairman charges Indigens on hardwork and innovation in 2021

The Executive Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Mohammed Muktar Shuaibu has charged Indigenes of the Local Government on hard work and innovation in 2021, urging them to see themselves as agents of change and reformation in the new year and beyond.

The Chairman made this known to journalists in Lokoja, yesterday, 1 January, 2020. He persuaded the people to remain outstanding and focused on their 2021 vision as people worthy of honour.

Hon. Muktar, while speaking further charged them to learn from the challenges and successes of 2020 and remain diligent because it is only in that successes can be attained in 2021.

Admonishing Youths in the area, he said, “2020 came with great challenges and plans that further culminated into a year of unforgettable experiences. Youths should learn from the pandemic and the #End SARS saga that further made 2020 remarkably unforgettable “

He posits that it is only in unity that Bassa local government will further remain respected, focus and regarded as patriotic component of the state.

“As a leader, I can only charge us to remain focused and committed. Be united and be unassuming in the task funneled toward making Bassa local government area a united front.”

Nevertheless, Muktar chastised people in the area to be law-abiding, diligent and focused to attract more dividends from the Yahaya Bello led administration.

“Youths should raise their heads high, form a formidable force to foster peace and unity for the growth of Bassa local government”, he said.
