The Nigerian Youth Congress, NYC, has called on Nigeria Youths especially Christians to pray for the country as they commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, noting that unity is one essential tool to National Development.

The Nigerian Youth Congress, NYC, which convene this to journalists in a congratulatory Easter message today signed by the President, Blessing Akinlosotu also stated that it is a high time Nigerian youths discourage tribe and religious divisibility
but rather rally round about discovering why we are one nation with multi-lingual entities and explore the resources hidden therein.

The President, Blessing Akinlosotu, further felicitated with the Christian faithful, as they join the rest of the Christian world in celebrating Easter.

“Easter is one of the most important events in the Christian faith which is to celebrate the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ”.

Encouraging the youths, Blessing Akinlosotu urged the youths to keep faith alive in the governance of the day and continue to support the Government in its efforts to provide security and an enabling environment for economic growth, prosperity, and the plain grounds for youths to be fused in the apex leadership positions in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Earlier, the President, thanked the general public for sundry contributions toward the success attained in the just concluded National Youth Summit organised by the Nigerian Youth Congress, NYC, held on 25 March 2021 at the NAF Centre, Jahi-Abuja.

Enjoining the youths on COVID-19, to continue observing the COVID-19 safety protocols and to seize the opportunity whenever it arrives to take the vaccine that has been made available against the pandemic.
