The President, Youth and Civil Society Coalition for Development, YCSCD, Comr. Aminu Aminu has urged the Nigerian youths to form the habit of appreciating security personnel knowing too well that they on daily basis sacrifice their lives at all costs for our safety.
The President who made the statement in Jos, Plateau State, in a one-day public lecture with the theme: “The role of youth in maintaining law and order, unity and peaceful coexistence in Nigeria”, emphasized the role the security agencies are playing no matter the situation they find themselves.
Speaking also, the mother of the event, Mrs. Rhoda Damulak established that youths should be conscious of the fact that 2023 is around the corner, and as such, they shouldn’t let themselves be used against the decision of the general public.
Stressing further, she advised them to embrace unity beyond the boundaries of religion and tribe.
Similarly, Comr. Abdulmajeed Babangida Sa’ad who addressed the media during the event acknowledges the efforts of the federal government in curbing insecurity as he urged Nigerian youth leaders to do more in youth orientation.
In attendance are men and women of timbers and caliber in all works of life alongside a large chuck of youths cutting across religious boundaries.
