The All Progressive Congress’ National Youth Coalition for Change has called on M.A Abubakar to contest for the APC National Chairmanship office.
The call which was made on Friday by the party’s National Youth Coalition in a press conference held at the NUJ office Utako- Abuja got youths across the thirty-six states including FCT in attendance.
The organisation’s spokesperson, Comrade Stanley Philip, stated that the credibility survey the coalition under took months back, found the former Governor of Bauchi State, Barrister Muhammad Abubakar worthy to be the party’s National Chairman.
Speaking further, he added that Muhammad Abubakar has the capacity to building a stronger, united, and inclusive APC that can seamlessly win elections, drive government agenda and ensure sustainability.
In his words, “we express total readiness to work with Muhammad Abubakar going by his already weighed capacity and capability to galvanize more support for government programs and agenda as well as reform the party and mobilize grass root participation that will muster estimated 10 million new youth members for the party before 2023 general elections. This will certainly afford APC a huge numerical advantage to win the 2023 general election across the country”, he added.
