The Ambassador of Nigerian Youth to the United States and Secretary-General, Nigerian Youth Congress, NYC, Dr. Raymond Edoh has called on the youths to key into government programs and policies, pointing out that by so doing, the government would be encouraged to do more.

Dr. Raymond Edoh made this known in a congratulatory message to President Muhammadu Buhari as the country under his administration clocks its 61st Independence.

According to the message which was signed by his media Director, Emmanuel Daudu, Edoh further urged Nigerian youth to imbibe the culture of appreciating the government for no matter how little a thing they do.

“The truth remains that we can’t fight the government. No one can fight a sitting government and succeed. No matter what we think we are going through, it is still far better than the military regime. We shouldn’t forget that the worst of democracy is far better than military rule. With this knowledge, we should learn how to complement the government and let go of their shortcomings and on the other hand celebrate them when where they do well”, he said.

Speaking further, Dr. Raymond Edoh congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari while celebrating with all Nigerians on its 61st Independence day celebration.

” I congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari for his giant stride and concern for the Nigerian youth. You have shown yourself to be a father to the youth by rolling out more than sixteen different programs for the youths in your administration”.

Outlining the programs, “
