Wema Bank customer service week: Wema bank takes lead in digital space, first to position e-naira within the industry-MD

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Wema Bank Plc., Ademola Adebise has stated that Wema bank is one best commercial banks in Nigeria, noting that the bank is the first to position e-naira, first to start alert banking within the industry.

Ademola Adebise stated this at the Enugu Hall in Transcorp Hilton on Thursday while giving a welcome address at the maiden Wema bank Customer Service week held in Abuja.

According to Ademola Adebise, the seventy-six (76) years old bank started when foreign banks were not supporting the local ones.
“It withstood the challenges and today it is taking the lead in the digital space within the industry. Digital is in our DNA”, he added.

Speaking on the expected outcome of the customer week forum, he noted that the forum is aimed at interacting with their customers, and work on how to serve them better.

Assuring the customers, he affirmed that the management wouldn’t take complaints gathered today from their customers for granted, stating that the reason why the bank is a going concern is because of their customers and as such can’t afford to take their plight for granted.

Wema bank’s mission statement which is to give every customer a delightful and memorable service experience, with its Vision, to be the financial institution of choice in service delivery and superior returns has maintained its apex position in social responsibility and would continue to, as reaffirmed by the Managing Director.

Wishing the customers a fruitful deliberation, he congratulated the bank’s management team for making the event a dream come through.
