The Venezuelan Embassy in Nigeria under the Ambassadorial leadership of His Excellency David Nieves Velásquez Caraballo, the Venezuelan Ambassador to Nigeria has bagged the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ACCI, award of the Most Supportive Embassy in Nigeria, 2021.

The Venezuelan Ambassador to Nigeria, David Nieves Velásquez Caraballo, a career diplomat, born in Cumarea-Sucre State in Venezuela, and had his tertiary education at Universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Rodríguez has tours of duty on behalf of Venezuela in Asia, Middle East, and Oceania and records has shown how immaculate he is in carrying out his incumbent.

The President ACCI, Dr. Al-Mujtaba Abubakar while making the presentation of the award in Abuja at the award ceremony lauded the efforts of the Venezuelan embassy in Nigeria for adding value to Nigerians and the country at large stating that the award was meritorious as two embassies, India and Venezuela we’re top contenders of the award, using the e-voting system.

“It is not a surprise that Venezuela finally emerged winner of the award, because lots of the embassy’s landmark achievements especially during His Excellency’s time, Amb. David Nieves Velásquez Caraballo are massively visible. We at ACCI, we say congratulations”.

Reacting to the award, His Excellency Amb. David Nieves Velásquez Caraballo, the Venezuelan Ambassador to Nigeria appreciated the organisation for honouring Venezuela with the prestigious award stating that it is only a call to do more.

While appreciating individuals as well as entities who have contributed in one way or the other, thanked his President, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, His Excellency, Nicolás Maduro Moros for the adequate support given him consistently to enable him to carry out his assignments here in Nigeria stresslessly.
” I also appreciate all the Venezuelan friends who have made this happen. Sincerely speaking, we can’t thank you all enough”, he added.
