At the launch of “Unfinished Greatness,” Kayode Fayemi states that “greatness must be our permanent watchword in our global destiny. Nigeria will fulfill its destiny built on justice and freedom. This is the national agenda of our times.”

The launch featured many dignitaries such as H.E. Yakubu Gowan, Former Head of State, H.E. Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and members of the panel which included Ndi Kato, Hamzat B. Lawal, Yemi Adamolekun, and Waziri Adio.

His Excellency, Yakubu Gowan said that “one thing I can safely say by way of an opener is that I find the title of the book quite interesting in addressing two issues that Nigerians are concerned about.”

The first notion is “why hasn’t Nigeria achieved greatness?”

Gowan stated that the notion of greatness is revolutionary. That Nigeria’s greatness speaks to our determination where peace, unity, and justice reign.

The second notion of addressing a new Nigeria is about the leadership question.

Gowan said that “we speak of leadership with a dedication to terminate insecurity. We speak of leadership that is concerned with making democracy work.”
