The presidential candidate under social democratic party, SDP, Prince Adebayo Adewole has urged Muslims to pray for the country in the holy month of Ramadan.

The presidential aspirants took to twitter on Saturday to felicitates with Muslims all over the country.

Recall that the sultan of sokoto had on Friday night announced the commencement of Ramadan fasting following the sighting of the moon in some part of the country.

Prince Adebayo said: ”In this holy month of Ramadan, let us note that self denial by way of fasting is a metaphor of spiritual sacrifice, a down payment on our faith in expectations of divine mercy and blessings of Allah SWT.

”May we be so committed to building a just, fair society. Pray for Nigeria”
