NiMet Conducts QMS Audit In Abuja

In continuation of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) audit that had taken place in Lagos and Port Harcourt, the Nigerian Meteorological Agency(NiMet) conducted another QMS audit process at the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja.

The essence of the audit is to provide comprehensive assessment of NiMet QMS processes and to ensure that the Agency is continuously improving it’s performance in line with ISO 9001 2015 standard to enhance customer satisfaction

Speaking at the event, the General Manager, Aeronautical meteorology Mr. Asaniyan Taiwo who represented the Director General of NiMet, stated that the internal audit exercise is conducted to ensure that ISO standard is adhered to and prepare the Agency for the recertification of the QMS ISO 9001:2015 on AeroMet Products and Services.
